Welcome to our webpage dedicated to celebrating and supporting women in the tech industry.

Explore the stories and experiences of women in tech, highlighting their achievements, challenges and contributions to the industry.

 

It is important to have gender diversity in the workplace to create an inclusive atmosphere. The lack of diversity in tech can have negative consequences for companies. For example, a study by McKinsey & Company found that companies with more diverse teams perform better financially than those with less diverse teams.

Some statistics to consider

Women hold 28% of all jobs in mathematical occupations, and 15.9% of jobs in engineering and architecture occupations.

In Europe, there are approximately 1.7 million women working in tech positions (representing about 19.1% of the ICT labor force).

At Track24, we’re delighted to champion our very own women in tech, with a workforce which is 46% female.

What do you look forward to at work?

Every day I am challenged and learn something new at work. The amount I have learnt and developed over my two years working at Track24 is phenomenal – it blows my mind! The team has always gone above and beyond to support me, on both a professional and personal level. My days are full to the brim and this means they fly by! I truly love what I do. My role gives me the chance to express my creativity and broaden my marketing knowledge. I’m involved in some really exciting projects. Whilst I am given the autonomy to make decisions on my own, there’s always encouragement and advice available from senior members of the team whenever I need it. I am so lucky to work in my dream role, in such a buzzing, fast-paced and inspiring environment. The vision and passion which exists in the business is completely contagious! Also… the London office is STUNNING and we have such a laugh – I enjoy office days so much.

What do you look forward to at work?

The business really cultivates development, and pushes individuals to be the best they can be. When I look back to when I first joined the company to now, the knowledge and experience I have gained is second to none. Everyday I am challenged and encouraged to do and learn more. I look forward to coming to work knowing I’m entering into an environment where I can make a significant contribution, whilst also being supported. Every colleague is willing to help and support new joiners in whatever way they can, which ultimately makes the environment one of the best places for new graduates.

What do you like best about Track24?

My colleagues! I look up to them and admire how competent they are in their craft. To me they are very inspirational and I can only look on in awe at the work everyone produces, that in turn makes me want to be better.
